Bangor/Fort Kent—Abigail "Abby" Deprey, 18, passed away unexpectedly on October 4, 2021, with her family by her side, at a Bangor health care facility. Abby was born on December 11, 2002, daughter of father Donnie Deprey and his fiancé Laura Cyr, and her mother Kelly Deprey and her boyfriend Robert Gendreau. Abby was the type of person to put her job in jeopardy when a friend needed help. Not because she was lazy, but because she loved everyone around her before she loved herself. Abby would not consider a beautiful moment if she wasn't sharing it with someone she loved. Abby wouldn't consider a good time without her friends to share it with. She would meet someone new and by the end of the day they were best friends. People loved her and she gave all her love to everyone, whether she knew them for 2 weeks or 2 years. Now she shares her love with all of us every time the sunshine warms our bodies and every time the moonlight shines our way through the night. Abby is survived by all her loving parents; her older brother, Bailey Deprey of Bangor; three step-sisters, Damika Dumond of Fort Kent, Brianna Dumond of Fort Kent, and Ashely Gendreau of Fort Kent; one step-brother, Justin Gendreau of Milford; one grandfather, Michael Beaulieu and his wife Wendy of St. John; one great-grandmother, Irene Beaulieu/Sirois of Fort Kent; two aunts, Connie Sirois and her husband Paul of St. John, Laurie Vallancout and her husband Rene of Fort Kent; two uncles, Peter Beaulieu of Fort Kent, Chad Deprey and his wife Amy of St. Francis; along with many cousins, uncles/aunts who will miss her dearly. Abby is predeceased by two grandmothers, Polly Beaulieu, and Pauline Deprey; one grandfather, Ringo Deprey; her great-grandparents Cora and Reynold Pelletier, and Elmer Beaulieu. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 9, 2021, 10am at the St. Louis Church. Family and friends may offer their condolences at Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 5-8pm, and Saturday morning from 8:30-9:30am. Following the burial there will be lunch in at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 372 Frenchville Rd, Fort Kent ME 04743. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
