Adam R. Ouellette, 88, died peacefully on September 30, 2020 at the St Joseph Memory Care facility in Frenchville, Maine. He was born in St. Francis, ME, April 24, 1932, the son of the late Adelord Ouellette and Julienne (Jandreau) Ouellette. Adam is survived by 7 of his 10 sisters and brothers, Adrienne Blackwell of Gaffney, Letha and her husband Larry Thurlow of Poland Spring, Joseph "Allen" and his wife Nancy Ouellette of Olivia NC, Virginia and her husband Kenneth Clifford of Sabatus, David Ouellette, Malvia Landry and her husband Ruben Landry, all of St. Francis, and the Rev. Kent Ouellette of St. Houlton. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Adelord Ouellette, mother Julienne Ouellette, his brothers Galen Ouellette, Gerald Ouellette and Roderick Ouellette. Adam worked in many capacities over his lifetime, as a cook, assistant cook, logging and other related logging industry positions. He was a veteran of the Army from the time of the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening for growing various produce. Adam was a loving son to his parents and was dedicated to them throughout his life. Adam helped in the care of his mother for many years until her death in 2010. He loved and is loved by his siblings, other relatives, and many others whom he knew in his life and work. Adam was faithful to God and Church. He was faithful in personal prayer and to participation in the Eucharist. He will be dearly missed by family and friends alike. A Mass of Christian burial will be held privately at the convince of the family. The family wishes to thank all the staff and others at the St Joseph Memory Care facility in Frenchville who made Adam's final year of life one filled with dignity, comfort and love. Those who wish in Adam's memory may donate to St Charles Catholic Church in St Francis, Maine through the office of St John Vianney Parish, 26 E. Main St., Fort Kent, Maine 04743. Masses in his name would be appreciated.
