Madawaska---Agnes Daigle Sirois, 87 years and 10 months passed away on April 26, 2025 at a Caribou health care facility.  She was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick on June 19, 1937, daughter of the late Oscar and Gloria (Morneault) Daigle.  She is survived by her son, Daniel Sirois of Van Buren; two daughters, Brigitte Boucher and her husband Roger of Madawaska, Sylvie Fournier and her husband Charles of Frenchville; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her siblings, Bernadette Daigle (late Hubert Ryan) of Ottawa, Claudette Daigle of Baker-Brook, Rodolphe Daigle (Gisele Nadeau) of Baker-Brook, Jerome Daigle (Patricia Thibeault) of Baker-Brook, Marie-Mai Levesque (late Jean-Louis) of Edmundston, Alice-Eva Daigle of Montreal, Jean-Guy Daigle (Gilberte Boutot) of Edmundston, Luc Daigle (Micheline Marquis) of Baker-Brook, Elisabeth Daigle of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Claude Sirois; two brothers, Louis-Philippe and Patrice.  She was the oldest of a family of twelve.  After marrying her husband, Claude, they moved to Madawaska.  Together, they ran Sirois Dairy alongside Claude's brother, Hermel.  Agnes always enjoyed spending time with her children and her beloved grandchildren.  In June of 2024, Agnes launched her autobiography to share with the public the many memories, events, and traditions that have marked her life and members of her family.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church.  Relatives and friends may offer their condolences at Lajoie Funeral Home from 6pm to 8pm on Monday, May 5.   There will be no visiting hours on Tuesday before the Mass.
