Madawaska---Alban Baron, 89, passed away July 26, 2025, at a Caribou health care facility.  He was born in Fort Kent on October 21, 1935, son of the late Arthur and Alvine (Saucier) Baron.  He enjoyed farming and raising animals during most of his life.  Alban was self-employed as a concrete construction worker.  He is survived three children, Rina Lagasse and her husband Leo of Grand Isle, Margie Dugal and her long-time companion Michael Mahaney of Vassalboro, and Davis Baron and his wife Rae Anne of Madawaska; six grandchildren, April, Ryan, Alyssa, Stephanie, Emily and Kaleb; four great grandchildren, Kamryn, Maci, Myles, and Elliot; one sister, Fern Cormier and her husband Leon of Connecticut; several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife, Jacqueline Baron; his siblings, Gerald Baron and Mavis Bouchard.  Services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.  For online condolences, please visit www.lajoiefuneralhome.com
