Obituary

Fort Kent --- Alberic Caron, 90, passed away peacefully on September the 5th 2021. Al was born in Fort Kent on March 7, 1931, son of Friole and Leona Caron (Dube). Al was married to his loving wife, Patricia Caron (Lozier) for 67 years. Al was blessed with 8 children that he cherished. His eldest son, Alan Caron and his wife Brenda and their two children Tabitha Molinsky and Adam, and two step-children, Myra and Jeremy. Son, Bryant Caron and his wife Cindy and his children Nicholas and Melissa, His eldest daughter Pamela Pelletier and her husband Charles and their three children, Clinton, Lance and Karen. Al was pre-deceased by his daughter Christine who had two children Derek and Brittany, his daughter Debra Molinsky and her husband John, his daughter Lois Dumond and her husband Allan and their two children Lindsey and Justin, his daughter April Roy and her husband Phil and their son Jacob. His youngest son Eric and his wife Miranda and their two children Jac and Jessie. Al was also blessed with twelve great grandchildren. Al was one of 13 children; he has one surviving sister Gilda who resides in Eagle Lake. Al was a hard-working family man that could fix just about anything he set his mind to. Al developed the trade in autobody repair and handed off that legacy when he started Caron's Auto Body many years ago with his eldest son Alan. Al also worked many years as the Lead Mechanic at the Gerber Pajama factory in Fort Kent. He was a proud member of the St. Louis Catholic Church and a Third[1]degree member of the Knights of Columbus. When Al wasn't working or tinkering, he enjoyed the outdoors either at his home or his camp in Cross Lake. Als hobbies included gardening, wood working, tying fly's and fixing sewing machines. Als adventures included the many hunting and fishing trips to the Allagash with his sons, son in laws and his brothers and brother-in-law Ron Jandreau of Madawaska. Al was known for his great sense of humor and his infectious laugh, kind heart and his handsome blue eyes. But most of all, Al enjoyed being home with his loving family surrounding him. His family so greatly loved and adored this gentle man, Al was not a big man in stature but to his girls he was the greatest man of all. He instilled faith in God, a hard work ethic, morals, love and respect in all his children. His smile, strength, pride will be forever remembered and greatly missed. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, 10am, at St. Louis church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
