Obituary

St. David---Albert J. Beaulieu, 81, passed away unexpectedly as a result of a tragic accident on July 12, 2011 in St. David. He was born in St. David on August 16, 1929, the son of the late Vital and Madeline (Cyr) Beaulieu. He was the youngest of eleven children. He was an Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War. He worked at Fraser Papers for forty six years until his retirement in 1991. He was a man of great wisdom, faith, who had an outstanding positive attitude. He loved to joke around and would do anything to make someone laugh. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His devotion to his faith is a reflection of the life he lived. Albert was a man who truly lived for others. He dedicated his life to his family of which he was so proud of. He required nothing for himself; it was always for the kids. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family. He enjoyed being outdoors, working on his land, and playing skipp-bo. He is survived by his seven children, Jim Beaulieu and his wife Diane of Manchester, CT, Bob Beaulieu and his wife Aleisha of Coventry, CT, Ann Beaulieu of Fort Kent, Luke Beaulieu and his wife Michelle of St. David, Louise Murphy and her husband Joseph of Coventry, CT, Jane Wooley and her husband Ronnie of Moncks Corner, SC, Lynn Beaulieu of St. David; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Rita Coppola of Pittsfield, MA; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of forty five years, Rita "Plourde" Beaulieu; six sisters, Marie Cyr, Elaine Ciccarelli, Matty Cyr, Laurette Beaulieu, Dolphine Beaulieu, and Elizabeth Beaulieu; three brothers, George, Wilfred, and Gerard J. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at St. David Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 6-8pm on Friday and from 9am until time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Albert's memory may be made to The Little House of Prayer, 8 Little House of Prayer Dr., Biddeford, ME 04005.
