Madawaska---Albert "June" Bouchard, Jr., 83 years old, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 after a brief illness, surrounded by his family at a Madawaska health care facility. He was born in Frenchville on November 10, 1933, son of the late Albert, Sr. and Ernestine (Michaud) Bouchard. He was a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus of Madawaska. June was a hardworking farmer all of his life. He enjoyed gardening, ice fishing, making puzzles, and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by four sons, Bertrand and his wife Lise of Edmundston, N.B., Roger and his wife Linda of Manchester, CT, Roland and his wife Gilberte of St. Basile, NB, Paul and his wife Stacey of Madawaska; two sisters, Irma Landry of St. Agatha, and Ouida Mazzoccoli of Tallahassee, FL; eight grandchildren, Ricky, Danny, Bobby, Eric, Andrea, Cindy, Trevor, and Shelby; three great-grandchildren, Aaron, Naomi, and Jaycee; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife of fifty years, Corrine (Levesque) Bouchard on June 1, 2006; his sister, Lorette (Bouchard) Michaud on June 17, 2006. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the St. David Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home in Madawaska from 6pm-8pm on Sunday and from 8:30am until 9:30am on Monday before the Service
