New Canada—Albert "Babe" A. Desjardins, 80, died on October 20, 2021 in his home. He was born April 11, 1941, the son of the late Albanie and Catherine Desjardins. Babe was one of their 11 children. He enjoyed farming, tinkering in his garage and spending time with friends and family. Babe was gentle, kind and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a mentor to many younger people in his community of family. He was predeceased by his daughter Roma Major. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Linda Dale Desjardins; his daughter, Colette Desjardins, Rachel Desjardins, Jane Koch and Lila Bourgoin; his son, William Desjardins. He is also survived by 15 grand children and 4 great-grandchildren.
