Madawaska---Alfred J. Pelletier, 81, passed away peacefully at his home in St. Agatha on July 20, 2011. He was born in Madawaska on November 30, 1929, the son of the late Joseph and Yvonne (Michaud) Pelletier. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty five years, Georgette (Levesque) Pelletier of Madawaska; two daughters, Sandra Pelletier of Frenchville, Linda Pelletier and her husband John of Fruitland Park, FL; three sons, Real Pelletier of Madawaska, Reginald Pelletier and his wife Laurence of Edmundston, David Pelletier of Madawaska; six grandchildren, Doreen, Brenda, Kim, Josh, Jesse, and Travis; four great grandchildren, Kelly, Zachary, Kaydon, and Sheldon; two sisters, Verna Emond and her husband Gerald of Quebec, Barbara Pelletier of Madawaska; two brothers, Clarence Pelletier and his wife Florence of St. Agatha, Nelson Pelletier of Connecticut. Alfred was predeceased by one son, Raymond Pelletier; by many brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Monday, July 25 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may call from 6-8pm on Sunday and from 9am until time of service on Monday.
