Obituary
Madawaska---Alida Albert, 96, passed away on January 8, 2017 at a Fort Kent health care facility.
She was born in Grand Isle on August 18, 1920, daughter of the late Adolph and Alice (Dube) Gendreau.
She is survived by five children, Lorraine Brewer of Alberta, Canada, Gisele Albert, Elizabeth Albert both of Connecticut, Paul Albert and his wife Linda of Madawaska, June Cowie and her companion Dave of Fort Kent; her daughter-in-law, Jackie Albert of Madawaska; six grandchildren, Toni, Robin, Natalie, Peter, Andrew, and Rebecca; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Lorette Lizotte of Grand Isle; many nieces and nephews.
Alida was predeceased by her husband, Adrian Albert; one daughter, Mary Jeanne Albert; one son, Charles Albert; one grand-daughter, Jenny Albert; her son-in-law, Charles Brewer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Friday, January 13, 2017 at the St. David Church.
Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 9am unitl 9:45am on Friday before the service
