Fort Kent—Alsime Raymond Jr., 90, passed away on May 7, 2021 in Madawaska at High View Manor Nursing Home.  He was born June 2, 1930 to the late Alsime Sr. and Maria (Michaud) Raymond-Berube, who had a total of 14 children; predeceased are 5 brothers, Alcide, Nelson, Josepha, Leonard and Gilford; 7 sisters, Rosa Michaud, Yvette LaComb, Emily (Daigle) Michaud, Martha Zamfino, Welda Raymond, Rena Raymond and Nellie Gorneault; one surviving sister, Emilda Michaud.  "Babe," as they called him was predeceased by his wife, Mary (Marin) Raymond; his son, Steve Raymond and his daughter, Nancy (Raymond) Golembesky. He is survived by one son, Gary Raymond of Fort Kent, ME; 7 daughters, Jeanette Michaud and her husband Bob of Frostproof, FL and Frenchville, ME; Linda Jandreau and her husband Roland of Presque Isle, ME; Judy Chasse and her husband Jim of Mesa, AZ and Glenburn, ME; Patsy Albert and her husband Herbert of Frenchville, ME; Paige Raymond of Brewer, ME; Mona Raymond-McCormick and her husband Mike of Orrington, ME; and Donna Marin and her fiancé Galen Wellman of The Villages, FL; along with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was involved with the VFW and the Knights of Columbus.  He served over 20 years in the National Guard and was also involved with the American Legion.
