IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Andre A.
Bouchard
February 11, 1943 – March 9, 2026
Fort Kent, ME---Andre Bouchard, 83, of Fort Kent, Maine, formerly of Wales, Massachusetts and Packington, Quebec, passed away on March 9, 2026, after suffering an injury. Andre was born on February 11, 1943, in Montreal, Quebec. A hardworking and determined man, he moved to the United States to work alongside his brother. That opportunity eventually led him to become a business owner, operating A&J Mister Butcher, where he built a reputation for his strong work ethic and dedication to providing for his family. Andre especially loved spending time at the family farm in Canada, where he enjoyed riding his four-wheeler and snowmobiles. He was also an avid motorcycle rider and could often be found riding his beloved Goldwing, which he proudly customized with his signature colorful lights. Andre enjoyed meeting new people and spending time with friends, and he had a deep love for his family and a special place in his heart for dogs, especially his dog, Beau. Andre was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He shared 60 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Madeline Bouchard. Together they built a life centered around family, perseverance, and love. He is survived by his wife, Madeline Bouchard; his four sons, Peter Bouchard and wife Barbara, Steve Bouchard and wife Heather, Don Bouchard and wife Pam, and Dan Bouchard and wife Erica. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren: PJ, Jeannette, Joe, Felicia, Sabrina, Andre, Allison, Ryleigh, Jeffrey, Kira, and Nathan; and two great-grandchildren, Xander and Theo. Andre will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his adventurous spirit, and the joy he found in the simple pleasures of life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
