Anita (Roy) Griffeth, 84, died peacefully at her home in Eagle Lake on October 18, 2024.
She was born on July 4, 1940, in Eagle Lake, Maine, daughter of George and Edna (Madore) Roy.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years, Gary Griffeth of Eagle Lake, daughter Lisa Ebert and husband Mark of Keller, TX and son George Griffeth of Eagle Lake; her 4 grandsons Michael and Christopher Rockwell of Keller, TX and Nicholas and Ryan Griffeth of Eagle Lake.

She is also survived by her siblings; Maxine Lafrance of Presque Isle, Mildred Martin, Edford Roy, Camille Roy and Norman Roy all of Eagle Lake and Rita Boutot of Winterville; along with many nieces, nephews and in-laws.  She enjoyed a special relationship with her nephew Matthew Roy.

She was predeceased by her parents George and Edna Roy, brother Roland Roy, sister Theresa Fournier and infant brother George.

Special thanks to Norman and Laure Roy, who provided us with immeasurable support which allowed us to keep mom home during this time.

Per Anita's wishes, there will be no viewing hours. A funeral mass will be held at St Mary's church in Eagle Lake, on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 10am.
