Van Buren---Anita M. Morin, 91, passed away on September 4, 2013 at a Caribou health care facility. She was born in Lille on July 25, 1922, the daughter of Randolph and Olive (Daigle) St. Jean. She is survived by four daughters, Mandy Palmer and her husband James of West Gardiner, Yvette Martin and her husband William, Rolande Wichrowski and her husband Joseph of Watertown, CT, Alice Simpson and her husband Gerald of East Windsor, CT; two sons, Gerard Morin and his wife Jean of Van Buren, Philip Morin and his wife Patty of East Hartford, CT; fourteen grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three sisters, Edwina Rossignol of East Hartford, Olida Masse of Avon, CT, Merilda Jambard and her husband Leo of Cocoa Beach, FL; five brothers, Sylvio of East Hartford, Clarence of Brooklyn, CT, Chanel of East Hartford Rudy of Cocoa Beach, FL Alde also of Cocoa Beach, FL; many nieces and nephews. She will be especially missed by her dog, Mitzi. She was predeceased by her husband Armand E Morin in 1976; three brothers, Roland, Conrad, and Norman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Monday, September 9 at the St. Bruno/St. Remi Catholic Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funreral Home (formerly known as Ouellette Funeral Home) from 6-8pm on Sunday and from 10am until 10:30am on Monday.
