Madawaska--- Ann Desjardins Michaud, 68, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.  Ann was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada on September 3, 1954, a daughter of the late Gerard and Juliette (Levesque) Desjardins.  She attended the Madawaska school system and graduated from Madawaska High School, class of 1972.  Ann worked a Dolly's for many years.  Ann is survived by a son, Steve Michaud of Sanford, Maine, and two grandsons, Eli and James Michaud of Sanford, Maine.  Two brothers, Paul (Ginette) Desjardins of Madawaska and John (Diane) Desjardins of Freeport, Maine; her companion David Richards.   She was predeceased by a sister, Julie Desjardins.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on November 4, 2022, at the St Thomas Church.   Family and friends may offer their Condolences before Mass at the St. Thomas Catholic church for 9:00am to 9:45am.  Interment will be held immediately following the Mass at the Parish Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.  For online condolences, please visit www.lajoiefuneralhome.com
