St. David--Anne Beatrice (Cyr) Deschaine, 68, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2020, with her family by her side in Portland, ME.  She was born in Van Buren, ME, on September 21, 1951 to Urbey L, Cyr Sr. and Annette (Deschaine) Cyr of St. David, ME. She graduated from Madawaska High School in 1969. She married in 1974 and spent several years being a stay at home mother. Anne encountered several people through her work experiences and told many stories of those times and never forgot anyone. One job she spoke of often was being a substitute teacher for Grand Isle and Madawaska School Departments. She never forgot a face she taught and talked of those students often.

In addition to her work, Anne spent many years volunteering in the community with the St. David Parish, Madawaska ATVenture Club, ATV Maine, assisting the elderly with appointments, errands, and visiting the homebound. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Ladies of St. Anne, and Daughters of Isabella.

Anne is survived by her husband of 45 years, Real Deschaine; daughters, Angel Deschaine of Jacksonville, NC and Kendra Deschaine of Goffstown, NH; one granddaughter, Kenzi Anne Deschaine; three siblings, Jane Cyr of Grand Isle ME, Danny G. Cyr of Lincoln ME, and Lucy Cote (Andrew) of Juniper, New Brunswick; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Anne was predeceased by her parents, Urbey L. Cyr Sr. and Annette Cyr,  brothers Urbey Cyr Jr. and James "Jim" Cyr.
