Van Buren--- Annette Archer-D'Alessandris, 84, passed away February 17, 2022, at a Van Buren healthcare facility. She was born August 14, 1937 in St. Leonard, NB, Canada, a daughter of the late Benoit and Alma (McNeil) Martin.
Annette was a devoted CNA and worked at Caribou Rehab and Nursing and several nursing homes in Biddeford, ME. She retired and relocated back to her hometown of Van Buren. She loved dancing and was an exceptional cook. She also favored attending local BINGO games.
She is survived by three daughters, Helene Pelletier and her husband Roland of Frenchville, Bertha Moore, and Patricia Rossignol, both of Florida; four brothers, Joseph, Aurele, Benoit, and Leo Martin; six grandchildren, Tina, Stacy, Keith, Chad, Amanda, and Chloe; eighteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Annette was predeceased by her first husband, Freeman Archer, her second husband, Joseph D'Alessandris, a daughter Barbara Archer, and sixteen siblings
Annette selflessly donated her body to a medical school to further the education of student doctors. There will be no formal funeral services. She will be interred on the grounds of University of New England, Biddeford Pool, ME. To share condolences online, please visit www.LajoieFuneralHome.com
