Grand Isle—Antoinette Beaupre, 77 passed away peacefully at her home on April 11, 2020.  She was born in Madawaska on December 27, 1942, a daughter of the late Louis and Marie (Michaud) Gorneau.  Antoinette loved having her family around.  She also loved doing arts and crafts.  She was an excellent quilter, although she would never admit it.  Antoinette is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Philip Beaupre of Grand Isle; 4 children, Philip Beaupre Jr. of Portsmouth, NH, Michael Beaupre & his wife Tammy of Nashua, NH, Bonnie Cyr & her husband David of St. David,  and Amy Dixon & her partner Rodney Cyr of Madawaska; 7 grandchildren, Dee, Harley, Kelly, John, Adam, Ryan, & Samantha; 2 great grandchildren, Elijah & Izaiah; 6 siblings, Alice Morin, Edgar Gorneau, Hermance Marquis, Jeannine Corriveau , Gerard Gorneau & Gisele Chamberland. She is predeceased by 3 siblings, Herbert Gorneau, Patricia Pelletier & Nancy Manz.  The family would like to thank the entire staff at Northern Light Home Care & Hospice for the excellent care given to Antoinette.  Funeral services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
