IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Arlene
Jandreau
February 9, 1929 – April 29, 2022
St. Francis---Arlene Jandreau, 93, passed away on April 29, 2022, in Danforth. She was born in Sanford on February 9, 1929, daughter of the late Onesime and Regina (Thibodeau) Jandreau. Born with cerebral palsy, Arlene's life was a struggle; doctors did not expect her to survive beyond the age of ten. Despite her struggles, Arlene was always happy. She enjoyed country music, group excursions, and interacting with people, especially her devoted caretakers. Arlene is survived by her sister, Nadine Jandreau of St. Francis; her sister-in-law, Marybelle Jandreau of South Windsor, CT; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her younger brothers, Roger (wife Ione), and Medric; as well as her brother-in-law, Alva Jandreau. Nadine, Karen, and Bev would like to thank Arlene's Danforth Habilitation family for the loving care they provided her over the many years she resided with them. We are especially grateful for Lucy and April for the frequent updates, as well as Debby and Sharon for their loving attention when bringing Arlene home to visit in St. Francis. We appreciate all of you. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at the St. Charles Church in St. Francis. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, you may send a donation in Arlene's memory to Danforth Habilitation Association's activities fund, 7 Maple St., Danforth, ME 04424, so other residents can continue to enjoy the outings that Arlene enjoyed.
