Madawaska--- Aurella "Rella" Beaulieu, 72, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at a Caribou healthcare facility. She was born November 23, 1945 in Green River, NB, Canada, a daughter of the late Abel and Rina (Girard) Therrien.
Rella was a devoted homemaker and cherished caring for her husband and two sons. She was a long-time member of Madawaska Gospel Church and, during her healthier years, enjoyed volunteering with their Bible Study and church activities. She was an avid crafter and decorator, but she always found time to reflect with her bible.
She is survived by: her husband of over 54 years, Wilmer R. Beaulieu of Madawaska; two sons, Mark Beaulieu and his wife Shelly of Loganville, GA and Dan Beaulieu and his companion Danielle Michaud of No. Waterboro; seven grandchildren, Karl, Nathan, Emily, Cameron, Lexi, Morgan, & Brooke; three great grandchildren; four sisters, Mona Faltin and her husband Larry of Nebraska, Bernadette Turner and her husband Ken of Missouri, Rolande Lawrence of New York, and Joslyn McDermott and her husband Jim of Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Madawaska Gospel Church, 125 – 25th Ave., Madawaska, with Pastor Jack Caron officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family Saturday morning 9:30 until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow in Living Hope Cemetery, St. David. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rella's name may be made to Madawaska Gospel Church, 125 – 25th Ave., Madawaska, ME 04756. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 114-10th Ave., Madawaska.
