Madawaska---Aurore P. Sirois, 84, died peacefully Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born in Frenchville on February 27, 1928, daughter of the late Albert and Alice (Cyr) Pelletier. She is survived by six children, Chanel and his wife Maud of Albuquerque, N.M., Arleen Gagnon and her husband Mike of Henderson, NV, Ron and his wife Lena of Madawaska, Louise Sirois of Beaufort, SC, Richard and his wife Carmen of Madawaska, Doreen Moore and her husband Billy of Buxton; four grandchildren, Michelle and her husband Mark, Ben and his wife Jennifer Lamarr Sirois of Madawaska, Christina and her fiancé Steven LeBlanc of Moncton, New Brunswick, Tina Dufour of Columbia, SC; four great grandchildren, Joshua, Briar, Aidan, and Mallory; nine siblings, Georgette Plourde and her husband Gilbert of Plainville, CT, Bertrand Pelletier and his wife Pat of Terryville, CT, Lorraine Raymond and her husband Albert of Rockford, IL, Rollande Pelletier and her husband Anthime of Coventry, CT, Thelma Thibodeau of St. Basile, Jeanne Pelletier and her husband Adrian of Madawaska, Eldon Pelletier and his wife Diane of Terryville, CT, Blanche Pelletier of Las Vegas, NV, Marcella Potvin of Southington, CT. Aurore was predeceased by her husband, Camille Sirois; one sister, Bernice Pelletier; and by one brother, Abel Pelletier. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 10am on Tuesday, March 27 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends called at Lajoie Funeral Home on Monday night. Spring interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
