St. Francis/Madawaska---Barbara Desjardins Harvey 67, passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2024, at her residence in St. Francis, Maine.  Barb was born on September 5, 1956, in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada.  The daughter of Emelio and Gladys (Picard) Desjardins.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend.  She cared deeply for the people in her life.  She was loved by everyone she met.  Barb dedicated her life to her family.  She was blessed when she met her amazing husband Ron, who always put her first.  She was extremely proud of her two sons, Craig and Chad Bouchard and her grandchildren.  Her family was her life.  She will be greatly missed by many.  Barb is survived by her loving husband Ronnie Harvey of St. Francis, two sons Craig Bouchard and fiancé Irina of Gambrills, Maryland; Chad Bouchard and his wife Whitney of Anchorage Alaska; five grandchildren, Austin, Jocelyn, Mackenzie, Aspen and Violet; one brother, Steve Desjardins of Gorham, Maine, and Sandy Cyr of Allagash, Maine; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her father Emelio Desjardins, her mother Gladys (Picard) Desjardins, and nephew Travis Cyr.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 29, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Charles Church in St. Francis.
