Van Buren--- Beatrice M. Rossignol, 78, passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 11, 2022. She was born December 31, 1943 in Van Buren, a daughter of the late Martin and Agnes (Dionne) Dubay.
A devoted homemaker, she was a proud wife and mother and cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beatrice enjoyed busying her hands with her knitting or solving word search puzzles. She loved getting out of the house and traveling around town with her brother Phil, her "partner-in-crime", to shop in Presque Isle and Bangor, or her daily walks down the street with her late son, Michael. During her younger years, she loved to party with her family and friends at their weekly suppers and bonfires and leaves many fond memories within the hearts of her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Diane Gagnon and her husband Mark, and Dinah Rossignol and her long-time companion Joel Michaud, all of Van Buren; seven siblings, Rita Facchini of Massachusetts, Clarence Dubay, Cecile Martin, and Fidele Dubay, all of Connecticut, Jeannette Noe of New Jersey, Jim Dubay and Phil Dubay, both of Van Buren; five grandchildren, Adam and his wife Randie, Zach, Brooke, Breanna, and Nick; three great grandchildren, Victoria, Melissa, and Allyson; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Beatrice was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Aurele Rossignol in 2001, a son Michael "Crazy Bear" Rossignol in 2016, and three siblings, Roger & Roland Dubay and Yvette Nadeau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church, Main St., Van Buren. Relatives and friends may greet the family Saturday morning 9 AM until the time of Mass at the church. Spring interment will be in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren.
