Fort Kent--- Bernard 'Bernie' Landry, passed away peacefully one day after his 74 th birthday, April 27, 2022 at a Frenchville care facility. Bernard was born on April 26, 1948 to Harold and Joan (LeBrun) Landry. Bernard served his country in the Vietnam War from January 1969 to August 1971. He had a great devotion to Mother Mary, praying his rosary. Bernie left this world as he lived his life, a quiet gentleman. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and had the privilege of witnessing his incredible smile. Bernard is survived by his sisters, Angela (John), Theresa, Ann, Marquerite, Mary of Hamilton, Ohio; brothers, Conrad (Michelle) of Sarasota, FL, Ruben (Malvia) of St. Francis, David of Hamilton, Ohio; along with many nieces and nephews. Bernard is predeceased by his father and mother; his brothers, Ivan and Billy; maternal and paternal grandparents. Our family wishes to thank St. Joseph Memory Care staff and care givers, for the exceptional, loving care they gave to our brother for the last 2 ½ years of his life; may God bless you all. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. Joseph Memory care activities at, 426 US Rt. 1, Frenchville, ME 04756. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 4, 2022, 10am at St. Charles church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
