Madawaska---Berniece M. Morin, 88, passed away on December 7, 2015 at a Fort Kent health care facility.  She was born in Cotton Valley, LA on June 24, 1927, daughter of the late Grady Roberson and Ella (Hood) Roberson.  She is survived by six children, Melvin Morin and his wife Florine, Philip Morin and his wife Yolande, JoAnn Long and her husband Jean Roch, Linda Dionne and her husband Armand, Mary Ann Contois and her husband Paul, Tammy Gould and her husband Scott; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; four siblings; many nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her husband Sylvio J. Morin; step-father, Robert Lee Jones; two children, Ernest Lee and Ronald Morin.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church.  Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 9am until time of service on Saturday.  Spring interment will be held in the Parish Cemetery.
