Obituary

Madawaska--- Blanche (Beaulieu) Albert peacefully entered into eternal life on November 17, 2024 at the age of 90 years at a Madawaska healthcare facility. She was born in Madawaska, ME on June 11, 1934, the 17th child of 18 children born to Eugene and Mattie (Chasse) Beaulieu.

Blanche was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a meticulous housekeeper and a wonderful cook who would create delicious meals for her family and friends at holiday gatherings, family picnics, and Sunday dinners. Blanche was a lifelong homemaker and spent much of her life volunteering at school functions, babysitting grandchildren, driving her elderly parents and older siblings to appointments, and looking after some of her fellow residents while she was a resident at La Maison Acadienne. She had a huge heart for anyone in need and could be counted on at a moments notice.

A devout lifelong Catholic, Blanche served the Church as a Eucharistic Minister and as a volunteer with the Funeral Buffet Committee at Saint Thomas Aquinas Parish for over 20 years, helping to prepare and serve delicious meals to grieving family members after funeral services for their loved ones.

Blanche is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger J. Albert and his wife Susan of Madawaska, and David Albert and his wife Diane of Madawaska; three granddaughters, Pamela Albert and her significant other, Tomas Sobolic of Bath, ME, Jennifer Walter and her husband Andrew of Lamoine, ME, and Stefanie Albert and her fiancée Zachary Davis of Frankfort, ME; one sister, Theresa Gallant of Hartford, CT; one brother in law, Paul James Albert and his wife, Altine of Southington, CT; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Angela Charette of Saint Agatha, ME.

Besides her parents, Blanche was predeceased by her beloved husband of 40 years, Leo L. Albert, siblings and inlaws, Vincent Beaulieu(Annie), Sadie Beaulieu(George), Alvine Daigle(Arthur), Alvin Beaulieu(Annette), Martha Beaupre(Omer), Armand Beaulieu(Cecile), Mabel Pelletier(Edmund), Romeo Beaulieu(Lillian), Norman Beaulieu(infant), Rosaire Beaulieu(infant), Antoinette Beaulieu, Irma Ouellette(Lucien), Walter Beaulieu(Antoinette), Germaine Cyr(Germain/John), Maurice Beaulieu(Wilfreda), Jeannine Soucy(Lawrence), sister in law, Joan Sirois and her husband Albert, brother in law, Clarence Albert and his wife Irene, and sister in law, Lorette Albert.

The family of Blanche extends its heartfelt gratitude to the staff and management of Ridgewood Estates for the exceptional care they provided to her during her years of residency at their facility.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Relatives and friends may greet the family Tuesday morning 9 – 9:45 AM at the church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
