Madawaska---Brenda Forbes, 77, passed away on April 9, 2023, at her sister's residence in Caribou.   She was born in Caribou on February 18, 1946, daughter of the late Lendell and Iona (Farrar) Forbes.  Brenda loved the community of Madawaska and enjoyed volunteering her spare time to various organizations.  She was a Mardens employee for 20 years, which was like a second family to her.  She loved the outdoors, and truly enjoyed riding her motorcycle.  She is survived by two sisters, Beverly LaBarre and her husband Paul of Caribou, Lynne Muffler and her companion Craig Richards of Caribou; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  A Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Lajoie Funeral Home.  Relatives and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral home in Madawaska from 8:30am until 9:45am on Wednesday before the service
