Caswell--- Brian J. LaBreck, 49, passed away unexpectedly July 3, 2021, while camping; one of his favorite pastimes. He was born November 22, 1971, in Caribou, a son of the late Beecher and Lorraine (Brown) LaBreck and raised in Van Buren.

Brian owned and operated Borderline Redemption Center, Caswell, almost 15 years. Previously, he worked various farms and abatements around the St. John Valley. He loved the outdoors and would spend as much time as he could camping, surrounded by the trees and meadows. Anyone that visited him Saturday evening knew he would be kicked back drinking Clamato and listening to old-time "Country Gold" radio. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and had an odd fascination with removing snow from his families' and friends' yards. He and his boat were common sights on the riverbanks every year collecting fiddleheads. Brian will be lovingly remembered by his fiancée and his children as a jack-of-all-trades and would lovingly tinker on all their projects.

He is survived by: his loving companion and fiancée of over 30 years, Lori Sanipas of Caswell; three children, Darci Tripp of Van Buren, Owen LaBreck and Danika LaBreck, both of Caswell; a sister, Lori Ouellette of Hermon; three half siblings, Lorraine Bush Caso of Lewiston, Arnold LaBreck of Van Buren, formerly of Biddeford/Saco, and Valerie Joy of Berwick; two grandchildren, Emma and Nevaeh; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by half-sibling, Tammy Fish.

Relatives and friends may greet the family 4-6:00 PM on Friday, July 9, 2021, at Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
