Grand Isle/North Carolina---Candida Boucher, 23, passed away unexpectedly on May 6, 2024, at her home in North Carolina.  She was born in Fort Kent on September 6, 2000, the daughter of Peter and Sandra (Ouellette) Boucher.  Candida enjoyed just about anything that has to do with the outdoors including snowshoeing, riding atv, fishing, and hiking.  She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  In her younger years, she always enjoyed playing board games with them.  She was a hard worker and worked as a CNA most of her young life.  Along with her parents, she is survived by her brother, Corey Boucher of Grand Isle; one nephew, Jaxon; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  She was predeceased by a special cousin and friend, Jenna Guillemette; her paternal grandparents, Albert and Omerine Boucher; her maternal grandparents, Camille and Raymonde Ouellette.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the St. David Church.  Relatives and friends may offer their condolences at the church from 9am until 9:45am before the Mass on Thursday.
