St. David---Candide Bouchard, 93 passed away on August 31, 2021, at a Madawaska health care facility.  She was born in Frenchville on November 12, 1927, daughter of the late Charles and Yvonne (Ouellette) Bouchard.  In her early years, Candide and her husband, Ronald traveled to many places.  She enjoyed crafting and walking.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.  She is survived by four children, Verna Saucier and her husband Ed of Connecticut, Richard Bouchard and his wife Pauline of Fort Kent, Linda Rossignol and her husband Claude of Florida, Mike Bouchard and his companion Diane Hall of Maryland; six grandchildren, Tonya, Tracie, Craig, Nathan, Nicole, and Joshua; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchildren; four sisters, Bernice Deschaines, Yvette Albert, Fernande "Fern" Bergeron, Simone Bouchard and her husband George all of Connecticut; many nieces and nephews.  Candide was predeceased by her husband of sixty-seven years, Ronald Bouchard; a grandson, Ryan Bouchard; two sisters, Sr. Thelma Bouchard; Claudette Maksimczyk.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Friday, September 3, 2021, at the St. David Church.  There will be no visiting hours or receiving line.  Contributions in Candide's memory may be made to the Ridgewood Activity Fund, 480 Ridgeview Ave., Madawaska, ME 04756.  Due to the current pandemic, please practice covid precautions.
