Madawaska---Candide M. Daigle, 82, passed away December 27, 2017 at a Van Buren health care facility.  She was born in Frenchville on March 24, 1935, daughter of the late Donat and Rose Anna (Ouellette) Chasse.  She is survived by her sister, Cecile Michaud of St. Agatha; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by five brothers, Oneil, Jean Paul, Clarence, Rosaire, and Gerard; three sisters, Marie Mae McQueen, Phelime Morgan, Leontine Chasse.  In keeping with Candide's wishes, there will be no visiting hours.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home in Madawaska.  For online condolences, please visit www.lajoiefuneralhome.com
