Fort Kent—Carl J. Cyr, 74, died March 7, 2022 at a Fort Kent health care facility. He was born in Eagle Lake hospital, the son of the late Omer and Amanda (Gagnon) Cyr. Carl attended Stearns High School. He worked at Pratt & Whitney for 34 years. He retired and moved to Maine to enjoy four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and golfing. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda (Boucher) Cyr; two sons, Randy Cyr and Jamie Cyr both in Connecticut; one grandson, Jason of Germany; one brother, George and his wife Lorna; one sister, Waneta Blaise of Connecticut. Along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Omer and Amanda (Gagnon) Cyr; sister, Patricia Michaud; brothers, Mitchell, Patrick, and John. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, 10am, at St. Louis church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home
