Obituary
Grand Isle--- Carlene Albert, 80, passed away on May 15, 2017, at a Van Buren health care facility. She was born in Lille on September 12, 1936, the daughter of the late Dennis and Sophie (Devost) Ouellette.
Carlene was a loving mother and wife and will dearly be missed. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and the American Legion Auxiliary. Carlene was a very social being and enjoyed planning and organizing religious bus tours to Canada for hundreds of people.
She is survived by: two children, Kenneth Albert and his wife Elaine of Oceanside, CA and Judith Albert and her husband Willie Parent of St. Anne, NB, Canada; a sister, Leola Michaud of Madawaska; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Carlene is predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Patrick Albert, a son Dennis Albert, and two siblings, Roland Ouellette and Althea Cyr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at St. Gerard-Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Grand Isle. Relatives and friends may greet the family Saturday morning 9 – 9:45 AM at the church. Burial will be in Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren
