Madawaska---Carmen Chamberland, 85, passed away on September 20, 2017 at a Fort Kent health care facility.  She was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick  on March 30, 1932, daughter of the late Edgar and Therese (Marier) Babineau.   Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on September 27, 2017 at 10AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Madawaska. Those who wish to offer their condolences may do so at the church from 9-9:45AM on Wednesday before the mass.
