Madawaska---Carol Gendreau Collin, 42, passed away on August 18, 2010 at a Portland health care facility. She was born in Fort Kent on October 17, 1967, the daughter of Reno and Joan (Landry) Gendreau. Carol is survived by her loving husband, Mike Collin of Madawaska; her beloved daughter, Megan Collin also of Madawaska; two stepsons, Justin Collin of Moncton, N.B., and Ryan Collin of St. Jacques, N.B.; her mother, Joan Gendreau of Madawaska; two sisters, Janice Legace and her husband Jeff of Fredericton, N.B., and Donna Gurkin and her husband Michael of Carry, North Carolina; her brother, Paul Gendreau and his wife Christine of Madawaska; her father-in-law, Adrien Collin of Edmundston, N.B.; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law, many friends and past students. Carol was predeceased by her father, Reno Gendreau in July of 1993. A Word and Communion will be held 10am on Saturday, August 21 at the St. Thomas Aquinas church. Friends and family may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 7-9pm on Friday and from 9am until time of service on Saturday.
