Eagle Lake--- Carole A. Walton, 74, passed away unexpectedly August 24, 2026, at her home, following a short illness. She was born November 10, 1951 in Eagle Lake, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Maria (Gagnon) Sirois and was a 1970 graduate of Fort Kent High School.

She worked over 20 years at former Gerber and Princess Kent pajama factory as a seamstress. She also worked housekeeping with Northern Maine General and Mercy Home, Eagle Lake. Carole enjoyed softball during her younger years but was a lifelong music lover and could listen to an eclectic range of music all day.

She is survived by two sons, Eric Walton of Sabattus and Wylie Walton of Scarborough; her siblings, Linda (Keith) Bradshaw, Ronald (Sharon) Sirois, and Rita Ricciardi; one grandson, Benjamin Walton; her loving pets, including her Abby pup; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Carole was predeceased by her siblings, Rella Delavogias, Stella Pelletier, Leo Sirois, Priscilla Sirois, Sylvia Clay, Exilia Bartlett, Gerald Sirois, Elsie Coffin, Richard Sirois, and Norman Sirois.

At Carole’s request, funeral services were held privately and at the convenience of her family. Arrangements were a service of Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home, 14 E. Main St., Fort Kent.
