Madawaska--- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Miss Charlene Garon of Madawaska, Maine.  Charlene passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 77 years and five months.  During the past years, Charlene experienced serious health issues and is now at peace and in God's care.  Charlene was born on June 13, 1947, to parents Martin Garon and Gilberte Ouellette Garon.

Charlene graduated from Madawaska High School, class of 1965.  Upon graduation, she was employed at a local grocery store.  A few years later, Charlene was employed at Madawaska High School as a library aide until her retirement.

Charlene is survived by a brother, Donald Garon and former wife, Bernadette Daigle Garon, both from Charlotte, NC and Maureen Garon Michaud and husband Paul from Bluffton, SC.  Charlene was blessed with the dedicated companionship of a very special and cherished friend, Lionel Laboissonniere from Edmundston, NB, Canada, as well as Marie Rose Cyr, a long-time school friend who dedicated much time to providing care for our sister Charlene.

Charlene also cherished immensely the love and caring from her niece Brigitte and nephews Chales and Chris and their families.  Although distance kept them apart, they maintained contact by email and photos of family events.
