Eagle Lake--Charles "Butch" Goggin, 77, passed away at home in Eagle Lake, ME the night of April 28, 2025.  He was born June 5, 1947 in Haverhill, MA.  He is survived by his wife Cheryl (Woodman) Goggin, four children; sons, Charles Jr., Christopher and Jeremy and daughter Jodi.  His siblings; Robert Goggin, Joseph Balukas, Paul Balukas, Joyce Larosa and Janet Charette, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A proud navy veteran from 1969-1973 and hard worker retired from Borden Chemicals in Andover, MA and then chose to move to Maine and focus on a simpler life with family and friends.  He enjoyed woodworking and small engine repair in his free time and spent many years working for Caron Farms of Fort Kent.  His death was unexpected and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held, Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 2pm-4pm at Lajoie Daigle Funeral Home, 14 E. Main Street, Fort Kent, ME.
