Fort Kent--Christine Marie Collin, born on November 17, 1954, in Fort Kent, Maine, passed away peacefully at home on January 23, 2025, after a long illness. Christine was the daughter of Laurette (Pelletier) Dumond and Clarence Dumond. Christine is known for her many years of service at Forest Hill Nursing Home. Many families fondly remember her for the exceptional care and love she provided to the residents. She was loved and respected by her family, colleagues, and friends. Christine's biggest pride was her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Matthew Collin and his wife Dierdre of Fort Kent, Maine, and Andrew Collin and his wife Karen of Winthrop, Maine. Christine is also survived by her grandchildren; Rebecca, Trent, Carter, Savannah, and Wyatt along with one great-granddaughter; Kendall, and her siblings; Ann and Bob Plourde, Elaine and Dave Martin, Eileen and Dan Bouchard, Louise and Steve Nadeau and David and Wendy Dumond along with many nieces and nephews.  Christine was predeceased by her parents, her sister Debbie, her brother Danny, and her husband and love of her life, Edward Collin. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
