IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christine
Forrest-Levesque
April 3, 1967 – November 14, 2021
Van Buren--- Christine Forrest-Levesque, 54, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021, at a Caribou hospital, following an aggressive battle with cancer. She was born April 3, 1967, in Massachusetts, a daughter of and raised by Linda (Stanley) Forrest and her stepfather, the late William Forrest.
Chrissy last worked at former On The Run store, Van Buren, for several years, where she loved to see and chat with her regular customers. Previously, she worked as a cashier at Lowes, Presque Isle, and as a local home healthcare aide for area residents. Christine loved to travel to Massachusetts to visit her mother and family, adored many trips with her husband to Bar Harbor, and cherished many memorable visits to Florida beaches to soak up the sun and collect sea glass. Chrissy was a loving wife and mother, and she felt no guilt in spoiling her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by: her beloved husband, Norman J. Levesque of Van Buren; five children, Jonathan, Kristi, Jacob, Jesse, and Belinda, all of Massachusetts; her mother, Linda, in Massachusetts; six grandchildren, Jaiden, Jocelyn, Kamrin, Makao, Mason, and Elijah; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides her stepfather, Chrissy is predeceased by one grandchild, Kalani.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Monday, November 22, 2021, at St. Bruno-St Remi Catholic Church, Van Buren. Relatives and friends may greet the family Sunday evening 6-8 PM at Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. Spring burial will be in Grand River Cemetery, Van Buren.
