Madawaska---Clarence Boucher, 81, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012 at a Madawaska health care facility. He was born in Madawaska on July 5, 1931, son of the late O'Neil Sr. and Eva (Clavette) Boucher. Clarence served in the US Navy and upon his return; he worked at Fraser Papers for thirty three years, until his retirement in 1993. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carmen (Saucier) Boucher of Madawaska; his children, Paul Sr. and his wife Rose Marie from St. Hilaire, N.B., Bob and his wife Diane of Madawaska, Diane McCormick and her husband Michael from Norfolk, Virginia, Donald and his wife Carol of Alberbeque, New Mexico, Susan Figg and her husband Michael of Bow, New Hampshire, 10 grandchildren, Paul Jr.and Lynne Boucher, Jenny Gilmore, Jason and Shawn Boucher, Brittany McCormick, Nicholas and Joshua Boucher, Michelle and Jacob Figg; four great grandchildren, Mikella Gagne, Krystina Boucher, Bryn Gilmore, Isla Boucher; one brother, Reginald Boucher and his wife Lucille of Madawaska; two sisters, Sandra Rose and her husband Dennis of Madawaska, and Andrea Lothian and her husband Bill of Ontario, Canada; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, O'Neil Boucher, Jr.; one sister, Doris Ouellette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 8am until time of service on Wednesday.
