Van Buren--- Clarence "Tot" Boutot, 65, died peacefully Monday, October 15, 2018, at a Caribou hospital, following a long illness. He was born September 9, 1953 in Van Buren, a son of Yvonne (Dube) Boutot and the late Rosaire Boutot.
Clarence last worked for Bangor Roofing and Sheet Metal Company for over 20 years before retiring due to an injury. He was a long-time member of the Van Buren Pinerunners ATV Club and enjoyed anything the outdoors had to offer, including hunting and fishing. His favorite times were spent with his family and friends, most nights playing cards throughout the evening.
He is survived by: his loving wife of over 45 years, Carmen (Ruest) Boutot of Van Buren; two children, Tammy Rossignol and her husband Eric of St. Leonard, NB, Canada, and Shawn Boutot of Van Buren; three siblings, Carline Dube and her husband Gaetan of Glenburn, Norman Boutot and his wife Rachel of Connecticut, and Alan Boutot and his wife Patty of Lisbon Falls; four grandchildren, Jason, Dominick, Ashley, and Cierra; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Monday, October 22, 2018, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church, Main St., Van Buren. Relatives and friends may greet the family Monday morning 9-9:45 AM at the church. Burial will be in Grand River Cemetery, Van Buren. In lieu of flowers, donations in Clarence's name may be made to: Pinerunners ATV Club, PO Box 346, Van Buren, ME 04785. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St. Van Buren
