Eagle Lake---Clarence Stevens, 88, passed away on May 26, 2021 at a Presque Isle health care facility.  He was born in Portage lake on November 6, 1932, son of the late Raymond and Louise (McInnis) Stevens.  After graduating from Ashland High School, Clarence enlisted in the United States Navy for four years.  He was very proud and often talked about his "Navy Days".  After returning home, he met the love of his life, Jane and got married.  He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Jane Stevens of Eagle Lake; two daughters, Sonya Ostiguy of Boston, MA, Sheila Blair of Eagle lake; two grandchildren, Justin Ostiguy and his wife Kelly of New Jersey, Jill Ostiguy of Boston, MA; one sister, Isabelle Maroney of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by five siblings.  In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral services.
