IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Claude
Caron
October 3, 1941 – November 19, 2024
Fort Kent--- Claude Caron, 83, peacefully entered into Eternal Life and into the waiting arms of his beloved late wife November 19, 2024, with his loving family at his side. He was born October 3, 1941, in Fort Kent, a son of the late Patrick and Maria (Pelletier) Caron.
Claude was a lifelong farmer on So. Perley Brook Road in Fort Kent, where he operated the family farm since he was a teenager. This kept the family afloat during the rough times when his father couldn't. He also worked at the local schools as a bus driver and janitor during the winter months. Claude was a proud Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a life member. He enjoyed hunting and fishing around the family farm during his spare time but cherished every moment he got to spend sharing his hobbies with his grandkids.
He is survived by four children, Wayne Caron, Andrew Caron and his wife Jill, Tony Caron, and Craig Caron and his wife Tina, all of Fort Kent; seven siblings, George Caron and his wife Nancy, Claudette Lozier and her husband Delsey, all of Fort Kent, Jeannine Ouellet, Bernadette Boucher, Noella Nadeau, all of New Brunswick, Lorenzo Caron and his wife Jeanine of Fort Kent, and Rita Glass of Arizona; seven grandchildren, Alex, Amanda, Toby, Allie, Caleb, Emmie & Hailee; four great grandchildren, Carter, Natalie, Annalise, and Drake; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Claude was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Nicole (Cyr) Caron in 2023, a daughter, Denise Saucier in 2023, and one brother, Reno Caron.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
