Fort Kent--- Claude R. Plourde, 79, passed away April 11, 2024. He was born December 27, 1944, in Fort Kent, a son of the late Levitte and Isabelle (Ouellette) Plourde, and was the beloved husband of Patricia (Duval) Plourde.

Claude and his wife operated Coffin's General Store, Portage Lake, for over 14 years, before their retirement in 2000.

He is survived by his wife of Fort Kent; one daughter, Lynn Carney; two granddaughters, Brooke and Mackenzie Carney; a great granddaughter, Mckinley Carney; six siblings, Rella Dubois, Patsy Hickey, June Plourde, Lolita Collins, Theresa Voisine, and Bernice Corriveau; and many nieces and nephews

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at St. Louis Catholic Church, E. Main St., Fort Kent. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
