Frenchville---Claude Sirois, 81 years and one month passed away on Oct. 17, at a Frenchville health care facility. He was born in Frenchville on Sept. 17, 1930, the son of Charles and Olive (Sirois) Sirois. He was the owner of Sirois Dairy with his brother Hermel, worked at Frazer Paper for 15 years, served in the U.S. Marines Corps., was a member of the American Legion, Knight of Columbus Third Degree, and was a member of St. Thomas Cell St. Agnes group. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Agnes (Daigle) Sirois of Frenchville, one son Daniel Sirois of Madawaska, Two daughters Brigitte (Sirois) Boucher and her husband Roger Boucher of Madawaska, and Sylvie Sirois of Madawaska. Two brothers, Hermel Sirois of St. Agatha, Charles Sirois of Madawaska. One sister Therese Signorille of Stanford, Conn.; Three grandchildren several nieces and nephews, he was predeceased by one sister Sr. Corinne Sirois; and six brothers Lucien, Conrad, Louis, Bertrand, Valere, and Robert. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10am on Friday October 21 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Madawaska. Friends and Family may call at the Lajoie Funeral Home Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. until time of Service at 10 a.m. Interment will take place immediately after the service at the parish cemetery.
