Madawaska---Claudette Collin, 74, passed away May 20, 2016 at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick on June 1, 1941, daughter of the late Alcide and Marie (Levesque) Michaud. Claudette spent most of her life in Connecticut and then moved to Tampa in 1997. She returned home to Madawaska in 2013. She was an avid line dancer and bingo player. Claudette enjoyed spending time with her family and playing games/cards with them. She is survived by her husband Emile Collin of Madawaska; three children, Diane Swanson and her husband Jonathan of Durham, CT, Marc Collin and his wife Tracey of Middletown, CT, Kimberly Blake and her husband Jim of Tampa, FL; four grandchildren, Natalie, Erik, Jimmy, and Joshua; seven sisters; five brothers; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters and three brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 9am until 9:45am on Thursday.
