Presque Isle & Hamlin--- Claudette (Dube) Lebel, 81, passed away July 3, 2023, at High View Rehab and Nursing Center, Madawaska. She was born April 26, 1942 in Lille, a daughter of the late Armand and Marie (Berube) Dube.

She married Wilfred Lebel on July 7, 1978 and lived her married life in Presque Isle, where she also worked several years with Maine Potato Service.

She is survived by her siblings, Roland Dube and his friend Marcella, Normande Vachon, both of E. Hartford, CT, Donat Dube and his wife Jeanne, Roger Dube and his wife Carol, both of Vernon, CT, Gloria Chamberland of Grand Isle, Lucien Dube and his wife Linda of Madawaska, Joel Dube and his friend Jackie Marquis of Wilmington, NC, Claude Dube and his wife Nancy of Frenchville; a brother-in-law, Real Martin of Edmundston, NB; and three step children, Jim Lebel, Mona Wilder and Susan Smith.

Besides her parents, Claudette was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred Lebel, September 16, 2020, and her sister Joan Theriault Martin, her brother-n-laws Roger Theriault, Jocelyn Vachon and Normand Chamberland and her sister-n-laws Nancy Dionne, Rolande St. Jean and Nancy Levasseur

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Monday, July 31, 2023, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Church, Main St., Van Buren. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren, ME 04785
