IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Clayton J.
Fournier
December 18, 1956 – October 19, 2024
Clayton J. Fournier, 67, of Eagle Lake, ME, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, at home with his family by his side. Clayton was born in Eagle Lake, Maine on Dec. 18, 1956, to Lila (Michaud) and Roland Fournier. He leaves behind his beloved wife Louise (Martin) Fournier, his sons Benjamin and Jeremy Fournier of Fort Kent, Jeremy's wife, Cheryl (Drolet) Fournier, and his grandchildren, Emily, Allison, and Ryan Fournier. Additionally, Clayton is survived by his siblings Janice Hayes, Della Leger, Nolan, Lomen, and Kevin Fournier. When you think of the term "family," Clayton epitomized that through his strength and selfless acts by always putting his family first. Clayton was an extremely hard-working jack of all trades, master of none. He loved to help others and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone without question. Aside from his family–which was his priority–he loved to fish no matter the season and you would often see him going for rides with his fur baby, Fille. The family wants to express gratitude to the many friends and family members who unselfishly gave their time to help in his care. Our earthly angel, Ann Gagnon, was there in the wee hours so the family could rest. His three brothers-in-law, James, Gary, and Daniel Martin traveled often to help care for and assist with household priorities. We also want to thank Clayton's close friends, Mike Michaud, Bill and Alex Dealaman, and Brian Fournier for their companionship. Additional thanks to other community members who donated food, reached out, and made themselves available when needed. Lastly, the staff and nurses at Northern Light Home Care & Hospice exceeded expectations to allow Clayton to remain at home. Per Clayton's wishes, a private celebration of life will be held with his immediate family.
