Madawaska---Clifford Paradis, 90, passed away on March 5, 2023 at a Fort Kent health care facility.  He was born in Madawaska on August 12, 1932, son of the late Willie and Yvonne (Theriault) Paradis.  After high school, Cliff was a cook at the State Restaurant before joining the United States Army.  After his return home from the service, he worked at Frasier Papers for many years until his retirement.  He enjoyed flower gardens, dancing, and cooking.  He made many meals for the senior center and many large gatherings in the community.  He was always willing to give a helping hand to those in need.  Cliff is survived by three sisters, Alphena Savoie and her husband Wilfred of St. Jacques, New Brunswick, Gloria Gagnon and her husband Armand of St. Agatha, Leona Landry of Madawaska; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife Sonia (Caron) Paradis; his siblings, Romeo, Gerard, Reginald, Bernice.  A Graveside Service will be held 1pm on May 30, 2023, at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in Madawaska.
